Well, she’s a femme fatale, so that counts. I’ve been inspired to recreate old master paintings. When you’re painting it is to understand the process, when you photograph, it is to understand the composition and light, and when you model, it is to understand the reality of the positioning. The positioning for the image I took as inspiration was unrealistic in actuality. I would have had to have my body full frontal, and my neck to the side, with my hand bent awkwardly. Obviously, the hands at least were somewhat fabricated details.
